Recently spent time evaluating and purchasing a semi-automatic espresso machine and I have to say their sales person Sam was a charm to work with. He was patient, answering questions and knowledgeable about the two machines I was looking at. I hastily purchased the week before Black Friday and after visiting Espresso Planet's website the week after my purchase ( I was ordering beans) I discovered a lower price on the unit I had purchased. When that lower price was brought to their attention they didn't hesitate to refund the difference. I thought it was the right thing to do however I'm sure there's some operations that would challenge that. Ill look forward to dealing with them in the future if and when I need a different machine and Ill be purchasing the beans that they sent as a sample during the purchase process. They're the "6 Origins Blend" beans and I quite liked them ! I'll update this review in the future if ever there's a need however to date my dealings with Espresso Planet have been totally positive!

I had a very good experience shopping online at Espresso Planet. The reward system is a great! Shipping is fast (ordered Friday afternoon and got it on Tuesday). Their customer service is amazing. I got an issue with a product and they were comprehensive and compensate me for that. With that experience in mind, when I think about coffee accessories/needs, I will think about Espresso Planet!

Bought a coffee grinder over a year ago and my negligence with allowing the machine to continue grinding coffee way past the maximum, caused it to clog in a bad way. Trying to unclog the machine created more damage. I decided to go in to Espresso Planet to get advice on what to do and I thought I would just replace the grinder. The salesperson (Sam) who was also helpful on the phone was in the store and took a look at the equipment and suggested replacing a small part and proceeded to check the machine to see if I was successful in unclogging it. Needless to say, it was still badly clogged and the technician came out and took a look at the equipment and both guys worked on it for quite a while and finally got it to work. I was so thankful and they did the work at no charge. Over and beyond great customer service from both guys. Thanks again and I am enjoying a fresh cup of coffee as I write this review.

Just finished shopping here around 2pm on Friday, November 11 and was followed around the store as I browsed by one of the employees - green sweater and black face mask. Literally every aisle I went into I had eyes on me and it made me uncomfortable. As I was finishing up I asked the employee if there was an issue and he said no. I’m not sure if his constant hovering was meant for me to know he was there if I had any questions because he didn’t say anything to me. This place has a great selection but I think I’ll do my shopping online from now on.

Pains me to write this review but I am left with no choice. I order some products from their site and on the site was told "only $11 for free shipping" so I decided to buy some coffee beans from a micro roaster. When I checked out, foolishly I didn't check the total but the free shipping was not given and when I asked about that, I was told that syrups don't qualify for free shipping. Okay fair (I guess) but why have the site ping me to tell me different. Regardless I ordered the extra coffee to off shoot what I thought would be free shipping. I get the coffee with my syrup to read that it was roasted March 11, 2022. I could tell by the sour smell that the beans had been past their best consumption date. I wrote the company back to advise them that they may need to follow up on quality control and I didn't not so much get the courtesy of a reply. I would strongly urge the owners to offer better customer support and to possibly correct their retail website. I own and operate my own business and I make it a point to make sure I respond to all questions, especially if they are unhappy with a service that I have provided, regardless of how busy I am, and I work 3 jobs. Come on Espresso Planet...you need to do better...be better. Thank you Edit: Owner reached out to apologize and had responded earlier but email must have made it to junk mail. I would consider ordering from them again after talking with Owner who expressed regret and offered to replace beans. The apology was enough for me and small business needs our support. Thank you
